Teaching, assistance and investigation agreements with:

  • The School of Medicine of the University of the Republic so that teaching, assistance and investigation activities would take place at I.P.P.U., pre and post graduate of Children Psychiatry, School of Medical Technology (Psycho-Motor Functions, Speech Therapy ).



  • The School of Psychology of the University of the Republic for the development of teaching and investigation activities, with pre-graduate students.



  • The National Association for Handicapped Children “Escuela Franklin Delano Roosevelt”, for the joint development of teaching and investigation activities.



Labor training agreement with:

  • Disability Social Procedures Area of the Municipality of Montevideo, signed in March 1996 for the creation of a Training Center for Gastronomy and Hostelry business



Instrumental support received:

  • Support of the School of Medicine of the University of the Republic through the Mental Health Commission. Resolution N° 23 dated 26/9/85.



  • Resolution of the Ministry of Public Health granting I.P.P.U. Foundation scientific status through Resolution N°795 dated 18/8/1992.



  • Authorization of the Ministry of Public Health to operate as “Rehabilitation Clinic” in the mental health area and for children and adolescent education, through Decree N° 355/965 (Bylaw N° 613) granted in September 2000.



  • Registration of I.P.P.U. at the Primary Education Counsel as N° 2 Authorized Private Special Education Institute.



  • Registration at the Social Security Bank as Rehabilitation Institute and Special Schools, Supplier N° 20.058.



Financial support received:

  • Financial contribution from the Dutch Institution KINDER-POSZEGELS, for the first time in 1984, and then in 1985, 1986 and 1988.



  • Money granted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in 1987 by Law N° 15.809.


  • Money granted by the Municipality of Montevideo for the training course in 1997.



  • Sporadic donations.
